Dubcnn hooked up with one of the West Coast's most underrated producers, DJ Crazy Toones. Having been in the game for almost two decades, and being one of the pioneers of the mixtape game on the West, Toones has alot to say. In this interview, we bring you the whole story, from the Low Profile days, WC & The Maad Circle, Westside Connection, Laugh Now Cry Later, all the way to his current mixtape "The CT Experience". SIXSHOT: How do you think you new album will impact hip-hop today?
WC: I think it is going to impact hip-hop today. I think it might be kind of hard for some people to digest because their body is so polluted right now with so much bullshit that is out there. When we drop this record it is going to be refreshing, it's going to be something a lot of people want to see, except if they don't have the balls for it. I don't know how else I should say it.

WC Quoted in Snoop Dogg vs. Police Football Game Story

Snoop Dogg's All-Stars battled the Inland Empire Police Department Enforcers in a charity football game in Long Beach, CA.

WC performed at the halftime game and is quoted in the story:

"It's all out of love," said WC, the self-proclaimed Ghetto Heisman winner who performed at halftime. "All the funds are going to charity, and I'm loving it. Everybody's supporting the community. A lot of kids are out here. It's great."

Interview: WC on DubCNN (Again)

Westcoast2k at DubCNN conducted an October 2002 interview with WC prior to the release of his album, "Ghetto Heisman".

Where do you feel the West Coast Hip Hop state is. Like these years has it set us back or pushed us forward?

Definitely put us forward. With artists like Dre, Snoop Dogg doin his thang. I think we didn’t go back, we didn’t go back at all. I think Hip Hop in general has improved, but I think the love for the artform has gone backwards. As far as Westcoast, I think we have grown and I think we could do some more collaborations on the Westcoast amongst eachother and help get that shit on another level. But its all gravy though, its gonna happen. Cause you know when we got together we did the Up In Smoke Tour, we turned heads across the whole world. And that’s something we need to do more. But I think Westcoast Hip Hop is definitely on the rise.
